Excellent harness with a large waist range
I owned a Gen 1 Momentum harness and I bought this version to intro my son into climbing. It has a large waist range, adjustable leg straps and was comfortable to sit and work in for him. The Momentum harness has changed a bit over the years. This model is a good choice because it has two waist buckles which allows you to center the belay loop/tie in regardless of your waist size. A solid performer that is durable and reliable.

Solid Choice
I purchased this harness to replace my old one, which had exceeded its recommended lifespan by a couple of months. I reached out to Black Diamond to ask if they offered a recycling program to properly dispose of my old harness, but unfortunately, they don’t have one at this time. However, they kindly offered me a 30% discount toward a new harness, which I used for this purchase. The harness is great! I am 4’11. 5” and the thighs are adjustable. Corporate, if you see this, I think introducing a harness recycling or trade-in program would be a great opportunity to encourage returning customers while also promoting safety by ensuring expired gear is properly retired and not used beyond its expected lifespan.

Worth it
I used to use the harness that were provided at my climbing gym, they we're uncomfortable around the crotch area and had no waist support. I bought the 'Momentum 4S Harness' not thinking much of it. However these made a huge difference in terms of comfortability, it didn't help me get better but these are breathable, comfortable, simple and durable.

Leg loops too small
Bought this as an all-purpose harness capable of going over cold weather gear. Found that the leg loops were too small (even extended) to fit over snowpants, and waste belt was a bit small also. Double check your leg/waist diameter needs before purchasing.
