Great addition for gear heads
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought:
- S/M and i weigh 120lb at 5’4” male.
This incredibly lightweight and close to body harness is versatile for any climbing where several different types of gear are involved. I use mine for sport climbing. The two small loops at the top of the shoulder work great for my hand mic from Rocky Talkie. The extra gear loops “quick” draws a new name. I imagine because of the versatility of the sternum strap, this can be worn over a jacket (or a couple layers) during ice climb season as well.

This sling rocks! It does
This sling rocks! It does double duty for me, carrying big loads of gear one day and the next I use it to help carry camera gear. It is amazing!

Used this on the Nose of El Cap. Didn't do it in a day because I'm not at that level of awesome, but I did complete the route and hardly felt this piece of gear on my body. Intuitive placement of gear loops made it so I always felt like I had space to rack things, and it was low profile enough that I could handle the offwidths fine without needing to remove it (I just racked my gear on one side). My favorite part is the fact that it moves with my body, and the fabric does not restrict my movement like other chest harnesses do. I got a lot of curious questions about it from other parties so I figured I'd write a review. I'm a 5'11 female weighing 150lbs and the S/M fit great. (And for the ladies wondering, I'm a C cup and there was still plenty of room for adjustment in the chest area if I was bigger or smaller. I landed in the middle of the sternum strap adjustment range).
