Some issues on design
Quality made pants - however with some issues on design. 1. The extra small side pocket located at arms reach is the perfect size for holding your phone or wallet. Unfortunaltely it is located too low and close to the knee - therefore slaps around with each stride taken - annoying. 2. The built in belt is nice in presentation but lacks extra functionality. You cannot clip on a pocket knife, etc. A better design would be to leave the belt open in places around the waist.

Great pants

Best Outdoor pants; my second pair
They repel water, they trap body heat to keep you warm, but they’re also very thin so I never get too hot. I can wear these in 40°F weather up to 80°F. I also do a lot of canyoneering and sometimes brush up against the rocks and I have yet to puncture these pants; absolutely incredible design and fabric, thank you black diamond. I could go on and talk about the articulated knees and the built-in belt, but I’ve made my point.

Great pants!
Overall great pants, 4 stars due to sizing, I normally wear a large and ordered a large but I think XL would have been better since they run a bit small

Great cold weather pants
Fit great, stretch well. Warm and wind resistant but still breathable. Slim and tapered fit but not too tight to put tights on underneath for below freezing weather. Great rock climbing softshell pants, haven’t used them for anything Alpine… yet!

Durable and stretchy
I love these pants! I use them for everything from setting to big alpine adventures! They help give me the comfort and confidence to push hard on big days and also very comfortable to sit around the gym and set boulders to hard sport lines. I'd recommend these to anybody especially if you have thicker legs like I do.

Mixed Review
In general, these are solid pants for light hiking or climbing. I love the storm color, but I'm a little disappointed in the cut of the material along the thighs and the lack of back pant pockets. Unfortnautely, the pant (or at least the pair I received) seams don't quite align by the pockets, which creates this odd bump mid-thigh.
