Sun hoody
Best sun hoody I’ve warn in a while. 90 degrees in the High Sierra sun and felt cool for the most part. The quarter zip lets you dump any chest heat and I cannot say enough about the material.

Self destructed first wearing
This item fell apart the first time I wore it. I wear a Solomon vest when I trail run. I’ve previously owned two of these garments. The new versions are terrible

Droopy
I don't know how people like this sun hoodie. Not only is it ridiculously expensive for what you get, but it also sags and stretches after 1 good sweat in it. I'm 6'1 and got a small. After one good sweat in this thing or several wears, it starts to sag and becomes droopy and very uncomfortable. It does not hold its length, and it's a bummer. The only time it's comfortable to wear is right after it comes out of the dryer. I have put this thing through the ringer, and I finally had to purchase a different sun hoodie. I could not handle the droopy fit anymore. Turns from a small to a 2XL.

Great Sun Protection!
I teach in an open parking lot with little to no shade. This hoody is ultra light and breathable. With that it also tends to dry quickly all while providing solid UV protection. So far this hoody has out performed other hoodies I have purchased that were marketed towards fishing. I cannot speak on how this performs in climbing which I believe is it's original intent. I highly recommend this for extended outdoor use to protect your skin from the sun in hot environments.

Awesome Everyday Sun Hoody
I have used this hoody as my daily driver for the past year, taken it around the world to climb and ski in, and it still looks great! The material is lightweight, breathable, and very stretchy making it great for rock climbing. My main use case for the hoody is for sun protect, since I hate wearing sunscreen, and this product works great for that. The biggest drawback is that I wear it so often, I look the same in all my pictures!

Alpenglow is the way to go
This is my third Alpenglow and I really like it a lot. It is stretchy, the color doesn't fade, is very compactable and it dries easily. It is the ultimate shirt for all four seasons. I highly recommend!

Great BC Ski hoodie
Love my dew Alpenglow Pro Hoody! I use it bc skiing and it is perfect for all kinds of weather. The hood fits really well both over my bare head and over a helmet. I love that it has a neck zipper as well!

I would recommend not purchasing

I would recommend not purchasing anything from backcountry.com. I received a defective product with extra fabric on the sleeve hanging off. I wanted to return the item and it took a long process to get it resolved. Instead of refunding me to my original payment method, they are giving me a time limited store credit. First they told me that I had been refunded and when I contacted them again, they told me that I actually had not been refunded and there was an error.
