Great leash!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this leash for everyday walks and a small hike through the woods. We loved it! It was very long yet not annoyingly so like those retractable ones. I loved the length because it felt like we were off leash yet still had control in case of emergency. My kids were able to walk our dog without issues too. I would say it is a bit long for neighborhood walks if you don’t have good control of your dog. We didn’t have that issue. I loved the color too.

Great for bitters
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a well made, heavy duty leash. It’s perfect for doggies who like to bite their leashes. My pitbull usually bites through them very quickly, but the style & material of this leash has kept him from ripping through it. Also my other pitbull is a puller & the bungee part of the leash helps cushion her pull a little. She’s a grey pit so the leash being yellow & reflective helps a lot with visibility. The only thing this leash is missing is another handle closer to the clip for more control but I just fixed it with a knot.

Great leash
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This leash is awesome. It is well made and heavy duty. It has a very comfortable handle that is padded. It has a bungee area where the clip is to attach it to the collar which is a very nice feature. I would definitely recommend this leash to friends and family who have dogs because it is the best one i have ever used and i have had many over the years. I would like to see it available in other color choices only because I don't prefer yellow.

Its a great leash but may not be for all dogs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love the asthetic of this leash it has high visibility and is reflective. I also like the bungee part of this leash and the little ring for clipping bags. I wanted a longer leash than the one i was currently using for hiking that was only 4 ft long but my dog likes to pull a lot. One of the things i was missing from my previous leash is a handle near the bungee to hold him closer to gain control more easily. Other than that i really like this leash.

Great leash for design, comfort, and safety
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I walk my 10 year old Irish Wolfhound around my neighborhood and on trails. When no one else is around, I like to give her lots of freedom. But when people get curious or roads get busy, I like to have a short lead option. This product checked all those boxes then some. The handle is unique and comfortable. The color is bright and cheerful. And at night the leash is reflective. My girl's long fur covers most things I have tried to put on her for evening visibility. I look forward to extending our walking season this Fall. When days get shorter, being seen won't be a worry.

Nice leash
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is quiet a nice leash. Well made and feels sturdy. I love the elastic part where it has some give. I’m able to control my big 90 pound Dalmatian with it. However I knocked off a star because it is quite expensive for a leash.

Bungy with a solid and comfortable leash
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have gone through so many different leashes with my dog because she likes to jump and bite them and pull. Most leashes are pretty standard but I have found that rope leashes like this are better for her. I love the fact that it has a bungee feature built at the end to allow her a little bit more wiggle room when she pulls. I can still control her just fine because it doesn't allow too much stretch but it is really nice. The leash is also really comfortable in your hand and doesn't chaffe like a normal strap type leash would. I was surprised to find the retro-flective markings down the leash as well. Basically when you are walking the dog at night you can see the entire leash reflecting in lights. I didn't see it mentioned as a feature but it was really cool to find. There is also a small clip that you can attach poop bags to for convenience which I always appreciate. Overall this is probably my favorite leash.

Great Lead
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great leash! I like the colors and the bungee part has a good amount of spring. Some bungee leashes I have tried before have no give, or stretch so much they don't do anything to help cushion the end of the lead.

Great leash, makes walks very convenient.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m loving this leash, the handle is great and much more comfortable than a traditional leash. Also the bungy end is very convenient for when our dog pulls a little bit. Would definitely recommend, it’s an upgrade from our last one.

Comfortable, Stylish & Sturdy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Backcountry Dog Lead met all of my expectations. I found this product to be sturdy/strong for my dog that is exceptionally strong and likes to pull occasionally. The suspension on the lead gave some slack which seemed to make my dogs pulling motion gentler and less jerking. This product is very light weight which is a plus for days when I travel; and the hook is screwed on tight. I was not at all worried about my dogs safety while using this product. After testing this product at the park and my neighborhood, I can say it’s great for everyday use and all occasions. Lastly, the handle is comfortable and the color/pattern on the lead is stylish and great for detection. Loved it!
