Great Material, but doesn't stay snug

We bought this collar about 2 months ago for my frenchie. I love that it doesn't break his skin out, doesn't get nasty & stinky like fabric collars, & is easy to clean. But I HATE that it is constantly coming loose. This collar does not stay snug at all.

Clasp is poorly made

Bought this collar about a 6 months ago, just recently anytime my dog (Australian Shepard/blue heeler) pulls in it, the clasp instantly unsnaps. She’s been on her feather in the front yard (because it’s not fenced) she has snapped out of it to run up to people (working this out with trainer)

Silicone makes sense

This silicone collar is rad because it doesn't tatter over time, so it basically still looks brand new even after a couple of months of wear. My dog likes to run through bushes and tall grass so I really like this feature. The branding hasn't worn at all either, and I love how the silicone material dries quickly and resists snow from building up or freezing to it when I take my dog skiing.

Durable and easy to clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to admit that I was very impressed with the quality of the Backcountry collar. The material is a thick rubber that is both soft and strong. It doesn't have the sticky feeling most rubber has (especially when wet) so it doesn't pull or rub on the hair. The inside of the collar gets a greasy film that builds up after a while of wearing, however, one of the best things about this collar is how easy it is to clean! Soap and water is all you need and it dries immediately so you don't have to wait to put it back on your pup. It has a durable clip and slides easily when adjusting it to size.

It’s a nice pop of color and my favorite thing about this collar is that it’s very easy to wipe clean because it isn’t a fabric collar. So no stinky smell from a wet collar when my dog plays in the pond.

Durable, Green and Clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dogs do not like collars. They will both slip out of them given the opportunity. This collar however, they have yet to slip out of. This collar is probably my favorite shade of green, and cleans easily, as evidenced by when one of my dogs found quite a bot of mud. Considering picking up another for tue second dog.

Love this collar!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am absolutely in love with this collar! We have had bad luck in the past with collars breaking as our dogs are very hard on them. The moment i received this collar, just by the feel, you can tell how durable it is. Not to mention i love the color of it as well. Its big enough to do its job but not to big where its bulky and bothers our pup. Will happily purchase from this company again, in the future! Tougher than i thought

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What i loved about this product was its durability. My Husky loves to run and play, and this collar has not ripped or torn. It's made of what feels like rubber. I honestly didnt check the packaging for what material it is. It's a snap on, and even that was durable. I thought for sure it was going to come off, but it stayed put and withheld even the toughest of areas and horseplay. Really good, tough collar that did its job

Backcountry dog collar ROCKS

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the Backcountry green dog collar, easy to take off or put on and fast to wash up when dirty. Color is easy to see from a distance when at the dog park. Collar is very durable and well made, will gladly get another for my other dogs. This is a well made sturdy collar and a great product. Highly recommend.
