I wanted to keep these. Quality was really nice and color was cute. I am a size 2 or 26 in pants. They were too big at the waist even with the drawstring. I wanted to make them work and use them under ski pants. I returned them and was hoping that there would be a smaller size made this year.

I was looking for something for loungewear or walking on cold days, and these pants were the answer. they fit great, if your legs are not too long, since the inseam is 25 inches. They are toasty warm and lightweight. They are not too puffy but have plenty of 800 powerfill goose down to keep you nice and warm on the coldest days. the pockets are zippered to keep your keys and wallet secure too. The material is very soft to the touch, but since it is 15D nylon, you need to be careful with them and avoid things that might snag them. I plan on wearing them a lot this winter.

I got these as a gift for my my mother who is always cold during in the winter. She practically lives in them now, at least when it's cold out. The seam to fit well and are about as durable as any other down clothing.

Game changer for winters in the North

I get through Minnesota winters by wearing merino wool base layers, but adding a down pant outside layer is amazing! They are super cozy, and no wind gets through them. In addition, the cut does not add a ton of weight or make you look like the Michelin Man. The black pairs well with many of my winter coats, and so many people stop to ask me where I got them!

Great to put on over leggings in the winter when going to the gym or walking the dog in the cold. SO comfortable.

Very Warm

It is super warm. Very nice for a cold winter. Although it makes me look a bit chubby, but it keeps me warm and looks cute.

Comfy Down pants

I am 5’3” and 115 pounds and I bought the xs Down pants. These are not the most flattering pants in the world due to the puffiness. But I still absolutely love them. They are light as a feather and so cosy. I’ve been wearing them at night and when an occasional neighbor sees them, I get huge compliments. They would be terrific on a backpacking trip and I will pack them for our next ski trip coming soon.

I’ve been looking for a down layer to wear as a mid-layer on really cold ski days and this did the trick. The length is shorter but it works well for me as I can easily pull them up to my upper calf, without too much bunching, to accommodate my ski boots. They stay in place all day, as well, without riding up. The sizing is a little off. I originally ordered the small and it was too big in the waist and legs for the snug and comfortable fit I was looking for. I exchanged for the extra-small and am happy with how they work. I am happy with the and am looking forward to wearing them all season.

Disappointed

After reading other reviews, I decided to purchase both the women's and men's versions in similar sizes. The men's version fits better and includes a drawstring at the bottom of the pant leg. However, the women's version has a strange fit and lacks the bottom drawstring. Not sure why this design choice was made, but it seems poor.

My partner has the mens version, and the men's small fits me way better than the women's version. They both have the stretchy material on the inseam and bottom, zipper pockets and a good waist drawstring, but the mens small fit my build better. I am 5' 7" and 120 lbs, my waist is usually a size 0/2 or 25/26. The waist on this was slightly too big, and the legs were a little tight. I have a small waist and a larger hip. The women's version was also shorter, which didn't work well for me. Main complaint is that the women's does NOT have the draw string at the bottom of the pant leg like the mens, so the pants sit with a weird flare at the bottom, where as with the mens you can tailor the drawstring to your leg size. Happy that these pants have 800 fill down all the way around, besides the crotch and bottom of legs, makes it stretchy enough to move in. Almost good enough, but I returned and got the Mens small which fits perfect.
