Lightweight, durable, and breathable—Cottonwoods LT Xpore 3L Jacket is built for storm days
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"The Cottonwoods LT is the shell I trust when the weather turns. It’s breathable enough for long hikes into the backcountry and tough enough for daily resort laps. The pocket layout is super intuitive, and the stretch fabric makes it easy to layer without feeling restricted. It’s a dependable piece for any winter mission."
When we need dependable protection for deep winter days, the Cottonwoods LT Xpore 3L Jacket delivers. Using Xpore’s three-layer membrane, it balances waterproofing and breathability to keep us comfortable from the skintrack to the chairlift. The lightweight 40D stretch face fabric moves easily while standing up to years of wear in the snow.
From the adjustable hood that fits perfectly over a helmet to the angled underarm zips that release heat during uphill climbs, every detail is designed for mountain performance. The stretch powder skirt and ergonomic wrist gaiters keep snow sealed out, while fully taped seams and YKK AquaGuard zippers lock in dryness. With its recycled materials, PFAS-free construction, and built-in RECCO reflector, the Cottonwoods LT is ready for any adventure—resort or backcountry.

About The Backcountry Brand
Backcountry began in 1996 with two skiers, a stack of avalanche beacons, and a garage in Park City, Utah. Our roots were humble, and we've grown since then, but our vision is still clear: to sell the best outdoor gear—and to create gear that’s even better through our very own gear and apparel brand.

Built By Gearheads
We live and breathe the outdoors, so every stitch of Backcountry gear is made with a mission in mind. Designed in Park City at the foot of Utah’s Wasatch mountains—and tested by our Gearhead® Experts who use it every day—Backcountry styles are built to perform wherever the snow lands, trail leads or adventure calls.
