Almost perfect

I wore Giordana FR-C bibs for many years until a redesign made them a no-go then I switched to Castelli Free Race Aero bib which was discontinued (for reference). These are really good, except that (IMO) anytime companies add the ability to pee easily to a women’s bib they sacrifice something else. In this case, it’s where the straps attach. They are really low which means that the waist can fall down as you ride, if you’re small waisted. And they don’t lie flat on your body unless you’re pretty aero on the bike. It’s not a deal breaker, in fact I’m buying a 2nd pair because I can’t find anything better, but I’d rather unzip my jersey when nature called and have a better fit. The leg band has some compression, more than the Castelli Aero & less than Velocio with FlyFree, but it’s not uncomfortably tight. If you have big thighs (like track cyclist big) that might be a problem. I notice it, but it’s not painful. As you can tell by this review, I’m fussy, so if I say they’re almost perfect that probably means most people will love them.

Best for long rides!

This bib is everything and more. So comfortable for distance and long days. Love that it has a drop tail too for bathroom breaks mid-day. The compression is perfect and I love the strap material as well, it sits perfectly on my chest. Highly recommend you trying this bib!
