Comfy, runs big
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comfortable boot, recommend sizing down. I normally wear 9.5 W but had to re-order and size down to 9 W due to slippage, even when trying thicker socks. Still have some extra room in the 9 Ws, so I’ll probably buy insoles for more comfort.

Great boots
Great boots. Love that they are waterproof. My only concern is that they're a little narrow. Hoping they stretch out with wear.

Wexford Chelsea Boot
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wexford Chelsea Boot is comfortable, and great for on and off horses. The waterproofing is just an added bonus. Now I have a pair here and a pair in Tucson. Love these!

Just a darn good boot.
It’s rare that I can try on a pair of shoes and feel that Cinderella fit. Wexford Chelsea boot was a dream at first wear. I have trouble with sizing sometimes, anywhere from 5.5-6.5 w with semi-wide feet. I got the size 6, B medium width, and with our without a thick pair of socks, they’re comfy and true. If I would have waited until I put some good mileage on them before reviewing, I would have forgotten to. But from others experiences they seem loyal!

Really disappointed
I was so excited when I found these boots, I know of Ariat as a solid brand and when they arrived I was not disappointed in the quality of the boot. I don't usually wear wide shoes, but sometimes I do in brands that run narrow, in these I tried on both the 10M and 10W, the 10M was extremely narrow in the toe, the 10W fit me well. I wore them around my house and even for a day at work, just around on the carpeting, and all was well. I bought these boots in the hopes of taking them as my primary shoe on a trip to Ireland I'm taking in July. My first indication that these boots might not work for me was when I wore them all day running errands, I got home and my feet especially the balls of my feet were just aching. I thought maybe it was a fluke so I tried again wearing them for an afternoon of walking around at a porch fest, and again my feet were ACHING by the end of the day. It's really disappointing because now that they have been worn outside I can't return them, but they are now useless to me since they hurt my feet so badly. I even tried switching out the insoles, but no dice. Huge waste of money, and very disappointing from a brand I've always considered top notch for comfort and quality.

My go-to boot
These boots are durable and hold up for YEARS. I am dedicated to this brand for comfort as well. The footbed is really comfortable and I walk a LOT in them. I cant add a photo because I wear the absolutely to the end of use!

Don't last long.
I am so disappointed in Ariat. I have had these 8 months. And only wear during dry weather. When cold or rainy I wear muck boots. So maybe 5 or 6 months of real wear.

Do you have a question about this product?

I normally wear an 8 1/2 to 9 medium, but when I use my custom Orthotics, I have to go up a half size and go to the wide width. So with Orthotics, I would use a 9C shoe. Would you recommend A 9C or 9 1/2 C in this boot for use with Orthotics?

I have a slightly wider foot ... I do well in Hoka Bondi runners for instance (though the wide is too wide), but not in Nikes. As far as boots go, I can walk all day in UGGS. Am I ok with a B-medium and sizing up a half size from my street shoe size?

I have bunions, but the rest of my foot and heels are normal to narrow. Should I stay with regular width?

Is the wide any larger in the shaft and/or in the heel of the boot or just in the toe box? I have the boot in normal width and it is very roomy in the ankle and heel, but tight on side of toes, so I only want room in toes, not extra elsewhere. Thanks!
