This modern hiking boot from adidas Terrex is made for long miles on rugged terrain, built with the responsive comfort of a BOOST midsole that helps energize every step of the journey. The GORE-TEX membrane offers breathable waterproof protection, while a gusseted tongue keeps out debris on rocky switchbacks and forest floors alike.

The lightweight upper hugs like a trail runner, but a molded toe cap, external heel clip, and EVA stabilization frame ensure the kind of support we need to push into technical terrain. Incredibly comfortable!

These hiking shoes are so comfortable that I wore them on days that we weren't even hiking. But on hikes, they give great support and balance. They are perfect for a day with some hiking and some walking around, because they are just as comfortable as the Ultraboost running shoes (although understandably hotter). Definitely recommended. I never wore them more than 6 miles in a day, but have no doubt that they would be comfortable no matter how far you walked. Also, meets the requirement of very lightweight. Plus they are waterproof. What more could you want?
