This modern hiking boot from adidas Terrex is made for long miles on rugged terrain, built with the responsive comfort of a BOOST midsole that helps energize every step of the journey. The GORE-TEX membrane offers breathable waterproof protection, while a gusseted tongue keeps out debris on rocky switchbacks and forest floors alike.

The lightweight upper hugs like a trail runner, but a molded toe cap, external heel clip, and EVA stabilization frame ensure the kind of support we need to push into technical terrain. A Continental™ Rubber outsole grips reliably on both dry granite slabs and wet mossy trails, keeping our footing secure from basecamp to summit. lightweight but handles the tough stuff well.

Lightweight boots with plenty of cushioning. Definitely good for keeping a spring in my step on long hikes. Goretex lining is good for British weather and they are rugged enough for some tough terrain ( not stiff enough for real mountain walks). I have taken them on long hikes in the Yorkshire dales and lakes and they have done well. They did take a bit of breaking in, that' not a criticism just a warning.
